Dexty was born from a simple yet urgent question: why is home fire protection still so neglected in Italian homes?

Every year, tens of thousands of house fires occur in Italy. The vast majority start in kitchens, faulty electrical circuits, and garages. Yet almost no family has a fire extinguisher at home — because traditional ones are ugly, bulky, require maintenance, and are expensive in the long run.

We wanted to change this reality.

From Aicon Italy, 15 years of experience in the security sector

Dexty is the consumer brand of Aicon Italy, a company with over 15 years of experience in professional fire safety. Aicon Italy works with companies, accommodation facilities, and industrial environments: it has a deep understanding of fire prevention, studies its mechanisms, and develops certified solutions.

Dexty is the natural evolution of this expertise: bringing professional safety to Italian families' homes, with an accessible, attractive, and truly simple-to-use product.

The product: designed for non-experts

A professional fire extinguisher requires training to be used correctly. Dexty does not; it is designed to be intuitively held and operated by anyone, even under stress, even without ever having seen a fire extinguisher before.

The white design with green and black details means Dexty is not something to hide in a cupboard, but something that can be in the kitchen, in the living room, visible and reachable at all times.

Our Values

Safety first
Every Dexty V1.0 is CE certified and compliant with the PED Directive (2014/68/EU). It's not a gadget: it's a tested device, with an extinguishing agent approved for classes A, B, C, F and safe on electrical systems up to 1000V.

True simplicity
No mandatory maintenance, no technicians to call, no annual paid inspections. For private use in Italy, you only need to visually check the pressure gauge once a year. If it's green, you're protected.

Design that integrates into the home
Protection must be visible and accessible, not hidden. That's why Dexty is designed to be on display — on a wall with the dedicated mount, in the car boot, or on the kitchen cupboard — without ruining the aesthetic of the environment.

The technology behind Dexty

The extinguishing agent used by Dexty is a special foam: non-toxic, non-corrosive, effective on four fire classes and electrical systems. After use, it can be removed with water and common detergent. The integrated pressure gauge allows for a quick visual check to see if the device is charged and ready.
